Dad has a rem700 in 243 that i will have one day. i love it. wanted to get a few hundered rounds now while i can. whats a good price and brand to get for it

I don't think I've ever bought a single factory loaded round of .243Win. But I remember about six or seven years ago, I figured out that I was reloading it for exactly 25 cents/round. I'm sure that's up significantly by now.

If you decide to reload for it, I highly recommend Sierra 85 gr HPBT. Extremely accurate, very well constructed and very effective, and I used to know at least one real expert who felt it was the best bullet available for the .243. Every deer I've taken has been with this bullet (I think 6 or 7 whitetail bucks).

100gr power point winchester's are $18 around here. By far the cheapest.
