The Benjamin-Sheridan is mine, the Daisy is my stepson's.

The only guns I'd like to add are a back-up pistol (a .380 of some sort -still undecided) and a magnum spring-air rifle, which will most likely be a BSA Lightning.

The wife wants a Walther P22 and the stepson would like a semi-auto CO2 pistol, a Ruger 22LR pistol, and an AR (he can keep dreaming for a while on that one).

buy the AR now, and let it sit in the safe till hes older.... way things are looking, he might not be able to get one when he is old enough / mature enough.

Just a thought.

That's an interesting take on  Ruger P89DC, for sure.

I hate to say it, but even if I had the money I wouldn't buy him an AR.   You learn to appreciate things when you earn them yourself.  That's how I was raised.

That said, the manufacturer's are pretty adept at circumventing lame legislation.  If it comes down to buying a neutered AR, so be it...hopefully it can be "fixed" later.  Worst case scenario, they may be unavailable...but then he'd always be welcome to use mine.

I do however, need to...in the very least...purchase a lower.
