I was at a party today and started talking to an older gentleman about guns.
Seems his dad brought back from France (WWII) a rifle that, as his dad called it, was a "Gentlemans Brid Rifle".
He said it is a sinlge shot rifle, (the way he described it, it sounded like carbine length), that takes a cartridge similar to a 9mm, but a little bit longer.
The original cartridge was bird shot. No other info at this time...
He was asking me if I might know anything about it. I asked him if there was any way to get a picture (or let me come take some pics), he said we could get together one day and get some pics of it.
I tried google, but no luck.
Anyone have any idea?
