I've got a couple of college friends that are staffers now in DC, you would not belive how little congress persons actually do. This country is run by 23 year old staffers. I find this fact simultaniously comforting and horrific.

In any event how could you in good concious vote for a peice of legislation that has an effect you don't fully understand.

Rep. McCarthy doesn't write these bills she has that done by the lobbyist from the Brady Bunch.

Notice how she introduced a whole bunch of different bills after the VT shooting? You don't really think she or her staff burning the midnight oil to write all those things so quickly?

She has all kinds of bills drawn-up by her friends who hate the Constitution just waiting to play politics over an incident like the VT shooting.

I wonder how much actual work she does for her district? If she spends all her time and political capital on firearms what is she getting done back home?
