Getting a .30-06 and was thinking about the Savage Model 116 with the Accu-trigger.  What's the general consensus on these rifles?  It's my understanding that they are very accurate out of the box....What is the quality, fit and finish etc. like?   The Savage at 6.5 lbs. is lighter than most other standard rifles, and is certainly priced right...

Acutrigger rocks......... Sweet.

The light Savage is one you hunt with. The heavy ones are the ones you target shoot with.
