I was looking at 17hmr's over at cabela's today. I like the Marlin they had with the heavy barrel but the stocks suck.
Are there any other stocks available for these Marlin's? Do any of you have experiance with the Rifle Basix triggers for the Marlin's? I was checking out the Savage 93r and I did find a stock I like but its not available yet. Its only for Savages and not Marlins   sharp shooter supply |

if it's the 917, Revival makes a thumbhole stock called Tundra. Richard Microfit also makes the same style but there's a longer wait.

Try Sinclair Precision, they have some Marlin items. Also, check Shotgun News for stock ads.

How is the trigger on your 917? I checked Marlin's site and they have a new design for their synthetic stocks. I like it  I would rather have one of the stocks like the one in my first post but for shooting crows out in my field this will do fine.
