Did this come with the large loop lever from the factory?

When did these go out of production?

Quoted:
yes, the large loop is factory.

Yup, my father picked up one a few months ago.  My son (6) told him he thinks it is just his size.  He really, really, wants grandpa's "cowboy gun".

I would like to note this is not a Wrangler.

A Wrangler has a 16" bbl and come in .44 mag, .357, and .30-30.

That is why I'm questioning this rifle with a large loop as factory.

Here is another auction for the exact same gun.  Notice no large loop.

I think you may be right.   The auction lists it as a Wrangler, but the box clearly says Trails End Hunter.   I don't know if it was an option or not on the Hunter, but I'm guessing someone added the large loop.  I think it is cool anyway, and would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the extra money.

The gun my father bought is an older Wrangler, and has the 16" barrel, and is chambered in .30.30.

What are you going to do?  Buy it or not?  Great caliber, too!   .38-55, I believe, is the original chambering in the 94.

I'm not going to buy it if it is not original configuration.
