Found some info that said April of this year.  One can only hope.  Anyone know the expected price?

I'm assuming you mean the FN FS2000?

From the PS90 episodes, it looks like April-May-ish for the pre-order fulfillment. Expect the prices to get inflated to beyond $2200 I guess.

Ouch 2000 bucks?  Man that is steep for a rifle.  I will have to wait and see what happens with this.  I like the Steyr Aug A3 and standard model.  Maybe I will spring for one of those.

How about everyone just anticapates the price to be around $1800 instead of $2200. If we all anticipate that price then it will eventally come down to that.

I anticipate you guys will send me money to buy the FS2000. Youve got a couple months to plan.

It looks pretty much like a standard A2 flash hider with a ports on top and the sides with a non-ported bottom.  So it should work as both a flash hider and a comp.

The big question is can it be removed and replaced with a AAC style FH?  If its not threaded thats a problem.

Thanks Talon--sounds like it may be a brake?  Do you know if the end is "open" or "closed" (meaning that there's a slightly larger than .223 diameter hole in the end of the brake for the bullet to pass thru)?  If it's not,  as long as the bbl is threaded I guess you could put a MB on it.  Anyone know?

That kinda sucks.  I thought I read somewhere it had an 18" barrel though, so if it could be cut to 16" and still make 26" OAL, that would work...hug.gif

I'm on the list at a place for one of these guns.  The price has now risen to almost $2200, and the muzzle device is non-removeable?  What next, I won't get it until the end of summer?

The more is think about it, the more I don't want to waste my time with it.

yup. It just fell off my list. spend nearly 2000$ then I have to cut/replace the barrel to even thread anything on?  I think they are making some mistakes there.

Right now FN is having a real issue supplying their PS90s. I am going to be real hard pressed to consider anything else from them. Since january there has only been one shipment of PS90s.

Anybody know if there is video of it in action? I'd like to see that front eject in slow motion.

The FNH site had nice photos but no video.
