Well guys it was awesome, got a chance to take pics of the XCR, FN SCAR rifles, the New sig rifles, New Steyr AUG, and the HK rifles.....by far the rifle that blew me away the most was the SCAR H(Extremely light package fellas) and the F2000(ergonomics were outstanding). From all the pics I have seen on the net of the F2000 I always imagined a heavy TURD, but guys....it is one sweet rifle, Same for the SCAR H just freaking awesome and so increadibly light. Spoke to HK reps, forget ever getting any of there rifles, FNs SCAR will be out in a year, Steyr is looking to build and sell rifles in the US, yes thats what they told me its on the way(but honestly their rifles looked like shit), XCR was a let down for me(was expecting fireworks and saw something that looked kind of generic)asked when they would start shipping and got the same bullshit excuse, "we are waiting for one part and they should be out in a few weeks" blah blah blah.......hmm what else, oh yea went by and checked out POF and LW rifles, both good stuff and both now have a 308 gas piston upper and using the DPMS as their lowers....REALLY liked the LW stuff......sig also came out with new P220 models, the full size with DAK trigger, and the new P220 CARRY its about an inch shorter than the full size....offered with DAK trigger, SA/DA model, and there new model SA only.......hmmm all I can think of for right now...oh wait also forgot to mention SW has a tactical revolver now picatinny railing on top and bottom of a 357mag/ 8 shot .....I would post pics but have no idea how to so if someone wants I can email them over to you and you guys can put them up, only thing is my pics of the SCAR L AND H are on my phone, the blonde rep that was at the counter wouldnt let anyone snap pics on sunday so I got screwed there...ok I have rambled enough I am out becouse I need sleeeeeeeep :)

The 7.62 SCAR was amazing. Much lighter than a Para FAL or M1A Scout.
The 5.56mm SCAR i could live without. I liked the Colt gas piston upper too. |
yes totally....MUCH MUCH lighter than a FAL or the M1 i was astonished
Report I heard was that they're going to make the SCAR H a bit heavier to make it slightly easier to keep it under control on FA.
why not just give it a muzzlebreak?
why does it need FA at all.... the m14 is supposedly uncontrollable on FA, and it's heavier than the SCAR.... survivorman, how was the length of pull on the FS2000? |
hmmmm LOP good question....I am guessing here but would say it is probably a 11 in or 12in LOP.....nothing like a FAL LOP which i know is 14inches .....the F2000 was amazingly ergonomical all I can say is it just felt very very comfortable, surprisingly so beacouse as I stated above I never liked it at all, to me it looked very bulky and uncomfortable....but I could not be more wrong
I hope you get those pics up. You need yourself a webshots gallery or something.
sorry guys I am at work right now...couldnt send out the pics last night cause I had to spend quality time with the wife :)....so when I get home I will email the pics out to a few people who will post them, hopefully they will be up tonight thanks guys
ok guys I have sent all my pics out TWICE, and still they havent been posted......can anyone post these bad boys for me?? I need someone who is serious here....you gimme your email address and I will send to you....who wants to help???
Muzzle breaks are worthless to the military. Flash suppressors are much more usefull as a muzzle device |
I can host the photos for you if you'd like. Send me an IM or Email through the site and I'll send you an address to email them to.
thanks Gamma sent the pics to olds442....lets see if he can get them up for me first if not ill im you next.....also wanted to let you guys know I got pics of the new elcan 1-4x red dot scope(liked it alot but will be very expensive around $1200), and met Mel from kifaru so took a few pics of his pointman also.
I used Photoshop to lighten up some of the pictures posted above to make them easier to see. If someone that knows how to post pictures will email me I will send you the enhanced pictures.

They borrow that can from the Barret booth? |
Jeez, do I want to save up for a FS2000 or PS90? Thanks for the pics.
Does the FS2000 have a last shot hold open? If so, where's the release? |
Sorry about that survivorman, but everytime I enlarged the pic to more than 2"X2" I lost so much res. that I was losing virtually all of the detail. Again, my apologies.
That S&W M&P-15 looks pretty sweet, Im diggin that monolithic rail
CIB no problem brother thanks for trying for me :)......the new Elcan scope is 1-4x power and is called the specter DR you can illuminate the entire crosshair or just a 1.5 MoA dot in the center...weight is at about 1lb....cost somewhere around $1500 :(

I liked the xcr but wasnt blown away by it....to me honestly it looked like a bunch of good old boys put something together, no to put down Robarms by any means I have loved there products but it was just kind of a let down....maybe I was just to pumped up about the SCAR H, I really wish you guys could hold this thing in your hands....talking about it doesn't do it justice really
yes very nice scope but I was told price is going to be between $1200 and $1700....yikes
That rail, and the front and rear sights, are Troy Ind. products........second to none, IMHO. |
The SCAR-H doesn't need to get any heavier because an optic, can, light, VFG and IR Laser will do that for it. Not to mention that very few people will use the 10 inch barrel on it.
I've been waiting for light rails on a revolvers... long time comin' .
Hellyeas it is. Any ideas when it will be on the market? |
