is it possible to duracoat once and then again a different color without any adverse affect ie; parts not fitting correctly?

please excuse my ignorance on this. I have never used the stuff myself. There is something that I want, but I need to be able to know if I can get the pink off first

I havn't done it myself, but I had them make one of their AR lowers OD at their shop...I'm guessing that they just applied it over the black finish.  It went together just like any other lower I've built.

Hope that helps.
