My local gun shop has one that looks unfired with an unfluted cylinder and a 4 3/4 inch barrel in .44 mag.
They will only hold it over night, is this a good deal?

That would be a SBH. If it were a used Stainless it would run 375 tops in this area, they are very good Revolvers. Check the barrel/cylinder gap(make sure a small housecat won't fit through it ), check the front sight to make sure it's centered and check for flame cutting on the top strap. These are very good Revolvers and theres not much to go wrong.

Forgot to mention it comes with a heavy leather cowbow holster too.

So it sounds like it is a bit high in price then....maybe they will come down a bit.

Depends on the make and stitching of the holster.
