Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - glass bedding a Remington synthetic stock ??

Anyone have a link to a web sight showing how to glass bed one, or has anyone here done one that can  help me, I have done several wood stocks but was wondering if you need to remove about the same amount of material around the recoil lug and tang as you do on a wooden stock ?? I'm doing this for a friend so I dont really want to muck it up !!  Anyone  .... TIA .. Ken

try the www.sav10ml.com for their instructions.  I just did a savage muzzleloader and I have been real happy with the results.  No idea what the remington stock looks like with the action removed, but I am sure that it is similar.

I wouldn't bother glassbedding a factory injection molded stock.  Waste of time, money and effort.
