Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - brevette revolving rifle

i have a brevette revolving rifle (6) round carbine percussion.  octagon barrel.  very fancy etching from front to rear.  my great uncle brought it home from italy after  WWII.  does anyone know what this is worth?  i cant seem to find anything like it or any info anywhere on the net.  thanks!

i don't have a clue as to what your rifle might be.  but in looking around online tonight i did find out that brevette is french for patent.  near that word there should be a year somewhere.  and if you could post picks it would help too.
