I find that buying mags, ammo and gizmos for weapons I dont have keeps me in accute focus of the ulimate goal though.

Look at it like this. You want a new bass boat so you go out and get a top-of the line model, but then you realize all you have to pull it home is a Mini. That's not going to work now is it? So now you have to go out and get a truck to pull the boat. Same idea. MJD

Get an AK for the trunk gun.
I'd get a ultimak rail and put a aim point or EO tech on it and throw it in the vehicle. |

I have to sympathize with you.
I currently have 20 30rd mags, 2 5rd mags, 2 Chi-com 75rd drums, and a case of Wolf but no AK's either. At least both my AR's are finished. |

I have 10 30rd Bulgarian Waffle mags and somewhere around 5-600 rounds of ammo and no AK.
All i ever find are neutered AK's such as the draganov stocked bull crap or the century arms canted sight WASR10 bull crap. I saw a decent Arsenal the beginning of last year at a gun show and have been punching my self in the head for not buying it. My only other options is to order one at full MSRP at a gun store. There was a Polytech underfolder at a gunstore awhile back. To each there own, but i think underfolders are gay. No stock should ever be made of all steel.-metal gets cold. I know there are some really nice AK's out there to be had, but in my area they just dont fly so you only have redneck commando guns to choose from. |

Let me know when this comes about,OK? Try to find a nice 56S,they have all the wood grips and all! I might have a nice early 60'S&W type nine mil you might need(nine mil better than a .22lr)and ammo almost a cheap!! Bob

Gotta have atleast 1 AK. I have a SAR,13mags,pso scope, 1000+rounds of 7.62x39. Put 80 rounds through it. 6 months after I bought it the wonderfull state of Connecticut banned them. Got a Certificate of possession of an assault weapon from the state cause I had it before the ban. They are not that expensive unless you go for the designer AKs. I would love to own a Krink!

I'm not sure what I'll do...can't afford one right now anyway....I've got an AR to finish.
I'm even thinking of vamping DOWN my AR set up just so I can faster afford an AK. My 20" AR set up (just need a barrel & optics) may become a stock no frills gun so I can get an AK in short order! |
