Also anyone use a shotgun scope on thier rifle?  They fit the long eye relief a scout mount would require and have some magnification where a red dot does not.  Use a SG scope or no???

The Yugo has longer handguards than the standard AK so no those guards wont work. Only handguards for Yugos will work.

I have a Smith & Wesson shotgun scope on my 458 socom and my buddy has the same scope on his 50 beowulf. The extra eye releif is nice.

I say no!

Most shotgun scope's adjusment clicks are set a 1/2" in 50 yards.. That means the bullet will move 1" at 100 for every click.. This can make sighting in difficult or next to imposible...

i have a bushnell 1.75- 4x32 that i have been bassing around from rifle to rifle for a couple of years now.  it works great, and is real fast on target on 1.75 (i think the center circle x-hair helps that also).  i mounted it on one of my ARs to see how it was on there.  i think that is where it will stay.  haven't shot it yet due to tear down rebuild of the rifle.  IMHO it is a poor man's version of the new rage in  low power CQB scopes.

I run a 1.5-4.5 shotgun scope on my AR, and I think it honestly works fine.
The reticle is like a duplex, but with a circle in the center around the fine crosshairs... pretty neat.

The extra eye relief is also nice, as other have said.

I use a Simmons Pro Diamond 1.5x5x20 on one of my rifles I use in 3 gun.  It has a wide field of view and a reticle that is quick and easy to pick up.
