Anyone have good info sources for learning about the older stuff?

I have a 1873 Trapdoor that, while I don't plan on using it, I would like to know it's manual of arms.

Also looking for education on Revolutionary war muskets, don't imagine I'd want a real deal, but an accurate, quality repro to toy with at the range and maybe hang over the fireplace.
