I was doing a google image search for bullpup conversions, when this popped up, it was in a "Shot Show" gallery. There was no mention of manufacturer.

Any idea who makes this?

Or if it is made at all?

I would love a FAMAS, a very good weapon, dispite being french.

You can keep the airsoft though.

IMI is on the ban lists and said bullpup is almost certainly select fire so odds are we will never see it.

I guess you didnt catch that it would be marketed in the U.S. as a conversion kit for around 500.00 to put on your own carbine......its just a stock assembly and muzzle break.

Thanks for the link, I should have known it was Isreali, given their affection for the .30 Carbine.

I would buy one, nothing wrong with 30 carbine.

I have seriously been considering a selectfire carbine. This would seal the deal if it is available. Will a reg. conversion kit work, or do I need a RR?

ETA: I found their website. I'll be e-mailing with questions. This might jump in front of the Thompson on the list.

Its pretty cool but if you read the article it seemed to be having extreme reliability issues.

The article was complaining about the Magal, which is this rifle:

The .30 Carbine bullpup sounds like it is intended to replace the Magal.

I e-mailed the sales dept. off their site, haven't heard back yet.

Foreign Legion uses it to great efectiveness.  They are pretty hard case troops, get into all sorts of nasty little conflicts in Africa. Congo, Ivory Coast.  Not all French in nationality of course. They also use the M4.

I would love to hear what the story is on the Hezi SM-1. I still have the brochure I picked up from the 2002 SHOT Show on it. It looked like a neat concept and I love bullpups. The company has some cool looking products on their site but I never got a reply from them when I tried to contact them at the time. I just chalked it up as one of those things they show us to tease and then they never happen (like US made AUGs, Tavors and SIG551s).
