I am familiar with what happens if there is a case rupture or pierced primer in many bolt action rifles as there are usually ways to vent the gas.  What happens in a T/C Encore in the same event?  Is there a safety feature on these guns?  Are they so strong that there is no need????  Am I stupid for asking this question?  The only option I see is the area around the firing pin and that doesn't seem like a good idea due to its location to my eye.  Someone please educate me.

don't worry about it too much........lots of  single shot rifles, pistols, and shotguns out there with no problems...

They are built quite tough. My bet is if it were to kaboom from too much pressure the thing would blow the barrel straight down and send the gas straight up because of the way it opens up. I have a .30/06 handgun from them. The thing is built tougher than my .45-70 BFR revolver.

If you are looking to buy one, I say you should, they are a blast to use and really accurate in steady hands.

I've never seen one come appart.  They come chambered in freakish rounds like 375 H&H.  It would take a lot to reck the action.  My only concern would be a barrel blockage but  I think the weld would break on the barrel mount before the pin would shear or the frame would fail.  There is some significant metal involved.
