Picked this up from a pawn shop today. Got a couple of questions about  it.  1. How do i tell if the assembly was from a parts kit ? 2.  The rear sight is marked  what looks like LR CO.  and the barrel is marked IBM CORP. Other than that the only other markins I see is the ser# on the back of the reciever. 3. Was it worth the $200 out the door price I gave for it? The bore doesnt look that bad. Any input appreciated.

200 bucks is a great price for a USGI carbine.  Try www.jouster.com they have a decent carbine forum.

Look more closely under the rear sight in front of the serial number and see if there isn't a maker's name there. If it's a GI carbine you stole it at that price.

yep you were right has IBM Corp. under it also. Kinda hard to see its hooded by the sight needed a flashlight .

I'll give ya $250.
