I am just about to buy a preban configured Rock River or a Bushmaster M4,A3. Please give me a honest critique of each one. I have been told that this is the place for the answer.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

Bushmaster has been on the scene longer and has always enjoyed a very good reputation for quality. Bushmaster has also always been a value leader selling very affordable rifles.
RRA is the new guy but has very quickly made a name for itself as being a top notch manufacturer. Rifles not only look good but have very tight tolerences.
