On the left is a NIB Springfield, Inc M1A. According to the serial number, the dealer had been sitting on it for about 2 years. TRW bolt, HRA oprod, SA barrel. You can't hunt with a semi-auto rifle in PA, so with the Realtree MossyOak camo stock this rifle just sort of sat on the dealer's shelf. Got it for $200 less than the cheapest price I could find for a current production M1A Standard. It's getting a Fred's Big Red birch stock
On the right is a very early (low 4 digit SN#) Polytech M-14S. With the mount and scope it was $600. It will become the recipient of a bunch of USGI parts I have sitting around, and depending on how it shoots, a new, medium weight, match barrel. It's also getting a new stock and a home camo paint job (HD Krylon green and brown) just to see how it comes out.
Small gunshow; nice to find some stuff I was looking for.
