Quoted: So, it some how their fault the government screwed us. They came out with a requested and most likely profitable product. It is the tyrannical .gov we should voice our anger towards. I'm not a fan of Olympic by any means, simply have not been able to trust them to function more than 75% of the time. I understand how the law against the armor piercing ammo for pistols law also sucks. I shoot steel gongs and sparks are nice. Whose fault is the ammo law, I'm guessing it is not a weapon manufacturer.

You are right in that the law is an abomination.
Nevertheless, OLY, in full knowledge of the existance of the law, and despite the pleas of the ammo importers, went ahead and started manufacturing the pistol anyways.
So, be angry at the gov for issuing a stupid law. And while you're at it, be angry at OLY for falling, with eyes wide open, into the trap the law set in motion.
Remember, had not OLY manufactured that particular pistol, in that particular chambering, those
millions of rounds, and possibly
billions afterwards would be accessible to us.
It's one thing to set a trap. It's another to walk into it knowing it's there.
I say OLY is just as bad as S&W and Glock in their disrespect for our RKBA, and their own misguided concern over their own bottom line.
I repeat: by producing a product whose sales are most likely fairly low, OLY turned millions of rounds on the docks into contraband. Do you think the importers "ate" those losses? No way! WE ate the money lost on that ammo. Any and all of us who bought imported ammo helped defray the losses incurred. How much EXTRA we will pay in the future (because that type of cheap ammo is no longer available) can only be guessed.
One final thing: Ever hear one word about OLY standing up on their hind legs and fighting that law in court? Neither have I.
Screw S&W. Screw Glock. And screw OLY.
