White gauze maybe?

White gaffers tape. Unless you leave it on for years or expose it to a lot of heat, it will come off without leaving a residue.

What about surgical tape?  Its a glossy white, but it will attract dirt so you can dull it out.  Any adhesive left behind should remove with mineral spirits.

Aimless I wouldn't worry about the flamability of the burlap unless your going to be shooting alot of FA.

I have used burlap for year both on my precision rifles and my AR's with no problems.  It is cheap and it can be customized to the colors you are looking for.

What about a couple of pieces of ol white socks.  You could cut rings and stretch them over parts of your rifle, no residue.

Rip up an old bedsheet and tie strips to the rifle.

There's a wall covering that simulates burlap(used as a wall covering), it's called Tasso-glas. It comes in different sizes of mesh. Since it's fiberglass, it won't hold moisture like the burlap will. I've never tried to camo a rifle with it, so I don't know how it would work.

HR,

Does Brass have a web site?  I'd like to see some samples of his stuff.
