Is there a .375H&H Magnum lever action on the market? If not, why? Anyone else want one over the years?

Lever actions aren't strong enough for the pressures.

There is a 375 Winchester. The Model 94 Big Bore was chambered for it back in the 80's. 200 grain soft point bullets. Similar the the 35 Remington. The 405 Winchester is probably the most powerful lever action cartridge. Winchester brought it back out in the Winchester model 1895. T.R. called it his "big medicine". Him and his son Kermit used it on their Africa trip. 300 grain bullets, 3200 foot pounds of energy. MIKE.

Incorrect. Model 99 Savages, Model 88 Winchesters, Browning BLRs, and Sako Finnwolfs have been chambered for high-intensity cartridges for many years. You must not've noticed. The .375 H&H is an extremely LONG cartridge that some bolt actions won't accomodate and there has been no commercial lever action that will be anywhere near long enough to handle the .375 H&H.

The round has only had limited popularity, so I don't see much of a market in trying to design a lever gun to handle it.

Jim's right I forgot about the Browning BLR in 7mm mag and 300 Winchester Mag. Does Sako still make that lever? MIKE

Does Sako still make that lever?

No, they gave it up about the same time Winchester dropped the 88 in the seventies. The 88 was never overly popular and the Finnwolf was just more of the same, but a lot more expensive. It's too bad, because they were and are first rate tack driving hybrid lever/bolt guns. The 88 is now a C&R gun and hopefully the Finnwolf will join it soon.
