Could you but a Mini-14 bull pup stock on it and modify an AK47 drum magazine to fit in it?

As long as the drum/mag still works in the AK.

It will also depend on the height of the drum, and its possible interference with the pistol grip. With the 10/22 bullpup stock, 25rd mags will not fit without modifications to the the mag and the pistol grip (though the double stack 30's will work)

Is the 94 ban the one that says that the mag, once modified, has to work in both rifles? or is that written somewhere else?

if that rule happens to be in the 94ban i'd like to see what gets brewed up in 04.

i was at the gun store today and I compaired an AK mag to a Mini 30 mag. they where the same size, but the AK mag had some nubs that could easily be filed off, and the mini30 had a little nub on the fallower that looks like it operates a bolt catch.

I purchased 5 30 round mags for the mini 30 back when it first came out that look like modified AK mags, I think they are Chinese Poly Tech mags because they have no reinforcement rib & the followers are chromed.
They function great!
