im looking at this and a rem. 700, both at wally world the vanguard is ten bucks more and in 270 i believe,  the 700 is i think 243.  although ive been told you can get walmart to order guns in whatever cal. you want, in which case id go 7mm or 30-06.

BTW im looking for an all-round gun for a little target/hunting stuff...  nothing id crap my pants over if i dropped it in the mud.

Hold out for a Remington 700 in 7mm Rem.Mag.

so the wetherby is crap?  or at least not worth ten $ more than the 700?
