When the Awb expires will we be able to once again  buy cheap import ,  high cap , drum mags for AR's
AK's and such  , or was that a seperate Executive order ??

Looking at the IMPORTed stuff here .

Well, I don't think prices on drum mags are going to move a whole lot, because right now you can import any magazine (including drum mag) made before the ban hit, as long as it was in existence somewhere in the world before Sept. 1994.  

Thus, the vast majority of drum mags in the world are already legal to import, sell and own, since they are all in 7.62x39 which is an outdated (even though still popular) caliber.  There probably haven't been enough drum mags made since 1994 to make a dent in the price.

Troy is right.  What you are talking about does not fall under the 1994 Crime Bill aka the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban.  Unless the 1989 import ban is removed you will not be able to buy those items you listed.

Is the other import ban that the AFTE imposed in the 1997 going to be affected too?
