I would like to know the major nation gun laws, and a link to info on it, or a brief summary of it.  So far I know the:

1. National Firearms Act of 1934
2. Gun Control Act of 1968
3. 1986 Ban of manufacture of new Machine guns except for law enforcement and Government use.
4. 1989 Import Ban
5. 1994 Assault Weapons ban.

I'm sure there is a different name for number 3.  I would appreciate a brief summary or a link to what the laws do.

I think number 3 was the Firearm Owners Protection Act.  Seriously.

Yes because it did a LOT of good things.  Dems snuck that MG ban in at the last minute, and Reagan didn't want to shitcan the whole thing, because it is a GOOD BILL otherwise.
