Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR15A2 HBAR SPORTER; uppervslower/dif. color?

Has anyone come across this.This a Colt AR15A2 HBAR SPORTER(green label). The lower has a distinct color deferrence than the upper. The lower has a low seriel#,in the production of HBAR, but is factory stamped AR15 A2 HBAR SPORTER, the rifle is all colt.

every Colt I own or have owned has always matched perfectly, FWIW

yeah, it happened a lot. At the time those were coming out, I got several and many were mismatched.  Idid some upper/lower swaps and sent some back to Colt for matching.
