how many of you guys here have your own setup for parkerizing firearms and mags and such. I am just curious as I was thinking of getting a setup if they are not to expensive or complicated. any other tips or advise thanks

Brownell's has good info, free.

www.webshooters.org/diy_home_parkerizing.htm also has some stuff.

I'm not set up yet, should be by the mid-fall.

Midway has the solutions in a starter kit along with a video.  You need a stainless pan. I went to a Restaurant Supply store and got one.  I used an electric burner to get the solution up to temperature.  I already had a blast cabinet and air compressor.  Minus the compressor and cabinet the total cost is less than $75.   I have been able to park 2 1911's, 1 M1 and a whole bunch of misc parts to practice on.
