Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Quality pistol magazines?

I need to get a couple extra magazines for a new Para Ordnance C7.45 LDA.  Which companies make quality/reliable magazines and which ones should I avoid?  Thanks.

IIRC, they take standard 1911 mags, yes? Avoid "USA" brand mags, they're a POS.

Mec-Gar, Chip McCormick Shooting Star, Wilson, Colt are a few brands that are ok. Some buy older mil-surp mags at gunshows & replace the spring & follower & have basically a NIB mag.
