I'm sitting on:
A DPMS AR-15 that I've set up for high power(floated barrel, NM sights, NM trigger, ect.)
An SKS that I've modded out(Drag. stock, scope, ect.)
Two Savage .22s, one bolt(scope), one semi(red dot)
Finally, a Mossberg 500 12 gauge.
I've got all the reloading equipment I need for everything except .22s and I've got more rounds than I can count.

PS- I was gonna by an M1A, but my Cavalier crapped out on me so I bought a Grand Am GT instead :)  All at the ripe age of 16.

Nice guns, when I was 13(1958) I bought a Remington Model 1989 double with rabitt ears, for 13.00 from an old man down the street who gave pony rides!

I used to cut his grass for him then feed it to his ponnies!     Hell back then you could order from comics, store adds, damn near every where!

No FFL or age requirments for ownerships from individuals!    We had just become a wet state(my dad didn't have to buy from bootleggers anymore)!

   Oh how things have changed!

Nice guns and good luck on more!

@16 I had more guns than you could shake a stick at! I'll put it this way. My first gun was given to me by my father. It was a .36 cal black powder single shot pistol. I was around 8 years old! Yes I did shoot it! When I would run out of balls I would resort to using .177 cal BB's for the shot gun effect. I was given a Colt SP1 for my sixth grade grad. present! This was not my first rifle and I was already able to make coffee cans dance with a 1911! To this day my dad pulls guns out of no where and gives them to me! He truly is a "Gun Nut". My dad was a firm believer in gun control too! He taught all of us kids how to load/unload every weapon he owned. As soon as we were able to do that (actions can be hard on a small hand) we were allowed to shoot it. You guy's are probably thinking I am full of shit but I can still tear down/assemble a 1911 with my eyes shut.

You know what they say "Like Father Like Son". I "Will" pass it on!

I purchased my first rifle at 13(10/22), a 870 at 15, and an SKB over/under 12ga at 16.  In this PC age of irrationality you are VERY lucky to have a parent who thinks you responsible enough to own and care for your own firearm before turning 18.  It shows a lot about your parents' trust for you and you should consider yourself fortunate to have been born to people so understanding of your level of responsibility.  Make sure you do the same for your kids.

Geez all these youngins.  At 16 had a 10/22, Browning Auto 5, a Winchester Model 100 (that I still have in excellent shape), and a Ruger single six .22lr.  Handed down or begged from my father.  Would have loved an ar at the time but I don't think my dad would have gone for it.  Too focused on getting a car at the time anyhow.

Lucky bastards! I didn't have any guns when I was 16. Now, at 21, I have a 9mm pistol, and very little extra money. How old do you have to be to be a "young man" anyways?

Of course, in a year or so, I will hopefully have a real job and be able to buy lots of cool guns, at least after I spend some money on my Mustang.

I had a shitload of guns when I was that age, but nothing really cool until after I joined the Marines. Since then I've bought an M44, Maadi MISR, M1A, a Glock 22, an RRA complete lower, an STG-58, and on the 1st I'll be paying off a .223 VEPR. Not bad for one year. I only wish I would have been buying guns the first two  years.

I just saved up enough for a Bushmaster XM15E2, I'm picking that up soon.
When I get my Eagle Scout rank (hopefully 6 months) I want to get a Beretta M9, or maybe a 1911

At 16 I could still remember all the guns I'd owned. I'm 25 and at last count I was nearing 300. Granted never more than about six at one time. I LOVE trading. The only visable sign of Arab blood in me.

Lessee, at 16 I still had all my original guns:

I had a Maadi Helwan 9mm, a SVT-40 Tokarev, a MAK90, a Chi-Com Pre-Ban SKS and a Chi-Com post-ban SKS Para w/AK mag conversion. I also had a nice Crossman 1600 that I later neutered trying to fit it into a "lazer tag" rifle stock :(

At 16 lets see.. It was only 3 years ago but I've traded SO many guns it's hard to remember. lol. -- I think I've remembered now..

Walther PPK/S 380acp
Ruger Mini-14
Ruger 77/22 .22 Magnum (Had a BSA 4-16x40mm I *think*)
Winchester 94AE 30-30
Marlin Model-60 .22LR
Browning A-Bolt Medallion .308Win w/ Nikon Monarch 3-9x40mm

I think that was it.. Oh, and I own none of them now.. I miss some and regret some trades.. But with a limited amount of money the only way I was ever going to see what I liked was to get ahold of different stuff and try 'em out...
Now, at 19, I don't think I'll EVER trade again.. I'm sticking with what I've got and will only be adding to it.

At the moment I have:

Bushmaster postban 'M4' carbine
Remington 700VS 22-250 w/ Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x44mmAO
Mossberg 590 (complete with M7 bayonet)
Marlin 880SQ bolt action .22LR w/ cheap Simmons 3-9x32 (junk optics, but in all honestly it's never failed me)
S&W 629 Classic DX .44 Mag
Sig Sauer P228 9mm
Ruger 22/45 .22LR

That's it "for now".

Nice start!
At 16 I had:

Chinese 20" barrel SKS with Choate full length stock, Tasco 3-9x40 rubber armored scope, see through mount, steel ventilated hadguard, 5 round flush fitting magazine well, and bipod. I called this my "sniper" SKS.

Chinese 16" barrel SKS with Choate folding stock, Williams peep sight, steel ventilated handguard, and 37 round detachable mags. This was my "assault" SKS.

Remington model 77 apache .22LR with green nylon stock.

Ruger model 10/22 standard.

Today the only above piece that remains is the Ruger 10/22!

I also have a custom built rifle my grandfather, a former gunsmith, gave to me before he passed away.  It is a Mauser 98k actioned rifle that was rechambered to 8mm-'06 (8mmx63mm).  Until I learn the basics of reloading, this rifle will never be fired.  The action and barrel were both brought home by my grandfather from Germany in 1945 (He was a rifleman in the 4th Infantry Division from Utah Beach on D-Day to the end of the war).

Smith & Wesson Model 22A .22LR pistol with 6" heavy barrel and Diamondwood grips.

Hopefully, my Bushy/Colt M-4gery will be complete soon. I also plan to spend some bucks on a restored Winchester M1 Garand from Miltech, but I haven't researched them enough to be confident yet.  A Springfield M-1A sounds like fun too!

Sounds like my little collection but a little different.

Right now I have a Marlin Model 60 with a 3x7 scope mounted on it.

Winchester 1300, 2 3/4" and 3", 28"  barrel with the Winchoke system. Received it 2  years ago for Christmas.

I'm currently saving for my first AR which is going to be a NIB Bushmaster XM15E2S 20". I'm almost at the 500 dollar mark so it's looking good. Should have it before my 17th birthday.

I've only really gotten into firearms in the last year, before it was just for hunting and having a little bit of fun but recently I've gotten more and more into it. Spending money on ammo instead of on my Bronco II

No pics yet, as soon as I get the digi cam I'll have some.

I am so sheltered...and not even 16 yet either...

I only have four guns, but the AR should be coming soon (that is when I save about $200).

Marlin 25N .22LR w/ Versa-Pod and BSA 4-12x50 & Butler Creek Sling (the 'Sniper' .22)
Remington 1100 12 gauge synthetic. 'Nuff said.
Beretta 21A. Anyone wanna buy it?
Some crap Brazilian single shot 20 gauge that shoots surprisingly well....

Oh, and I have one .44 muzzleloader that is kind of mine but is just a living room ornament. My grandma said to me when I was little, "When you can reach up and take it down without a stool, it's yours." It was made by my grandpa from a kit (I think) some while ago.
