Can anyone tell me if it would be illegal to put a 20rd fixed magazine on a paratrooper SKS?  The rifle still retains the lug, but of course no bayonet, origianl stock, and no flash suppressor.  I saw some advertised a while back and thought it would make a nice addition to my rifle, but wanted to check before ordering.  Thanks.

If it has enough evil features to be a preban, then I don't see why not.  Sounds like your 1 feature short though.

Thanks for the link.  I've visited it before and forgot about it.  That clears things up for me.  It states that the 20rd fixed is just fine.

The 20 round "fixed " magazine is exactly
that - a non detachable fixed mag.
An SKS doesnt have to be a preban if you
use one of those.
