Any one know about these?  I found one in a gunshop that seems like a good deal.  From what I found out:  It is a semi auto recoil action, (not the A500G  which is gas operated), made for a few years only after A5's were halted in production.  The shotgun is in 98% condition asking $250.

They were made concurrently with the Auto 5. Made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal like many other Browning firearms. They were one of Browning's many attempts to replace the Auto 5 with a shotgun that would handle 2 3/4" and 3" shells interchangeably without adjustment. A good gun that never caught on. I have a few friends who have them (the A500R). $250 is a pretty damned good price.
