Im looking into buying a remmy 700 vs. Is there anyone in the area that carries them. Acadamey said that they didnt have it.

Also, does the VS have a floated barrel like the pss. I just call bps and they were 150 more than my pss. thanks though.

I usually mail order big purchases for the best price and lack of tax.

Geez, There should be a bunch of them out there. I would bet Bachman Gun and Pawn would have one, Get out the DFW phonebook and start calling.

Also don't overlook a deal on the net.
Not tryin to be a smartarse but if you own a 700PSS why would you also want a 700VS, Costa arms has PSSs for like 685.00 or something I believe.
Impact guns (impactguns.com) has some great deals on Senderos also.

Hey stace,

Called bachman. They carry the pss and ltr.my pss is in 308 and im looking for one in 223. I heard that the vs was basically the same rifle (smaller palm grip) and about a 150 bucks cheaper. i orginally wanted a sandereo (sp) but the prices are out of my league right now.

bachman i think was 699 for store or 650 for show price. That was pss. no price on the vs or sandero.

You can give B&S Guns a call. They had a few Rem700's there last week. I don't have their number handy, but they are located at I-30E & Beltline Road. It is right at the edge between Mesquite and Garland.

McClelland's Guns in east Dallas 214-321-0231. Ask for Ron or Ken. They usually have a good supply. If not up front, they have a big warehouse for their internet business and also get fast response from Remmy's warehouse too. McClelland's is a hidden storefront shop that does a high-volume business.

lj, I talked to McClelland's this afternoon. They have a VS in .22-250 in the warehouse. Chris looked it up for me.
