There used to be time when some people where being ignorant, Francophobe numbskulls and would make fun of the Manurhin revolvers especially the MR-73. Why? Cause they where French .357 revolvers that kicked ass so much that people couldn't believe it. Why does GIGN still use this as a sidearm? Cause it keeps on shooting when other fail [from wear and use] and is one of the most accurate handguns ever made, period.





Now we have the Mateba, perhaps an ever better idea! A semi-auto revolver with the barrel aligned with the bottom of the cylinder to reduce rise when recoiling.















BTW: Mateba also makes fine 1911's:

People complained about reliability?  I think the only way to keep a modern revolver from firing is to brake/remove the firing pin.  Or maybe plug the barrel, if the operator should be so stupid.
