My grandfather gave me a Smith and Wesson 22 Long Rifle Ctg revolver.  He said it was his fathers, but I don't know if I can believe him.  I have the serial number, but I have no idea what year, make and model it is so I can know what to expect when I try and sell it.  The s/n is K 176766.  Anyone have any ideas how to find this out?  Thanks.

You have a Model K-22 Masterpiece; Postwar 3rd model made in 1953. Value range 150-500.  You didn't describe the condition it is in.

You would sell a gun given to you by your Grandfather!?

You couldn't pay me ANY amount for an heirloom that my grandfather has given me.  They're just priceless.
