Try buying a spare gas plug and then think about buying the rifle. They break and there is no source for parts in the U.S. I wouldn't spend over $500

The question is GOING price.  Postban DR200 & DR300 are going for around $550-$800 used/new.  Prebans are going for anywhere between $1000-$1700.  Parts can be a problem, but there is a sweetness factor.  I just bought one off of a guy on another board.  Can't wait till it gets here.

I was trying to do a deal with my pre-ban side-folder,AR-100. A buddy had it at a gun shop in Las Vegas for a month. I wanted to sell/trade and pick up a pre-ban AR-15. He said,he had offers of $500 bucks maybe a little more. My receipt shows I paid $340 in 1985. I told him that, at that price I would just keep it,guess I had it at the wrong gun shop because I have seen them at Vollmeirs(sp)for $800-$1200. It does'nt get shot much anyway because of the parts issue...WTK,If I have a family member in the Army, could he/she buy spare parts (other than the Receiver)in S.Korea and ship them to me?
