Is it safe to shoot ammo that has gotten wet?

I had a case of pistol ammo (Speer Lawman brand) in the trunk of my car and unknown to me the trunk has a leak.  Found it this morning after a couple days of rain. 5 boxes were submerged to the point I had to pour the water out of the boxes/plastic honeycomb trays.  The remaining boxes got soggy but the rounds seemed dry other than maybe humidity "sweat" on them.  I threw away all the cardboard boxes, separated the rounds that were submerged from the others and dried all of them on a towel.  spread them out in a bigger dry box to let them finish drying and to let the plastic trays dry out before I put them back.

Should I do anything else to them? Will they still shoot?, Or should I just dispose of them in a safe way via the range without firing them?

Better safe than sorry, I'd dispose of them in a safe manner. I would pull the bullets, dump powder and oil the primers. That's what I would do. Good luck.

Send em to me.I'll dispose of it, one round at a time. (Yes, I bet it will shoot fine, I just would'nt consider it for carry ammo.)

BEFORE YOU READ THIS YOU AGREE NOT TO SUE ME.

Shoot 'em up.  I once dropped a reloaded .45 ACP in the draink of my kitchen sink.  I just left it there, washing dishes every couple of days, and pulled it out like a month later.  No way is this gonna work I thought.  It went boom just like it was supposed to before the abuse.  I didn't bother picking up the brass though . . .
