These things are going for around $100 for a new Ontario, or about $35-40 for a Taiwanese copy. Is the Taiwan model as bad as it's price suggests, or are the others overpriced?

If you just want to stick it on the end of your rifle, the $39 copy will be just fine.

HOWEVER - if you are going to throw it into your BOB, get the real thing!

I wouldn't say that $35 makes for a bad knife.  I'm offering these at a realistic price one ought to pay.  I have side-by-side pictures of Taiwan M9, next to an Ontario M9.  If anyone is interested, I'll gladly send you these pictures....about 20.

Its not always, "you get what you pay for", but given these are not made in the US, I know its not worth much.  But if I stamped these with US markings, and made CNC runs here in the US, they'd be "worth" more, despite being the same M9.
