What do we have here?

KAC556 MG, Mini-14 SBR, or is that barrel still 16"?

It's a registered receiver Mini-14. It came as the GB model with the full stock and 19" barrel. I had it chopped to 13", put in the folding stock and the KAC556 front sight/gas block installed.

Looks like the "chop shop" did a great job!
I bet that SBR is very LOUD!

Like the sig line. A "pulp fiction" quote or just a personal favorite?

Good Luck with your toy in it's NEW configuration.

Neat looking rifle.  I can't help but wonder what the shorter barrel will do for the Mini-14's legendary accuracy.

The factory auto in this exact configuration would be the KAC556F. That is what I originally was planning on buying but I lucked into this one for half the price. I'm willing to give up the Ruger factory service for around $2K.

Nice. I wish I could afford to get some toys like that. I probably wouldn't get those exact things but I have dif taste in guns. I'd love a G3, MSG-90, PSG-1, M4 shorty, the list goes on and on.

However, some of us abviously forgot the quote from our favorite movie "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".

It took me 8 months and $140 to get the front sight. You'll need to search www.subguns.com and www.sturmgewehr.com everyday and one will eventually pop up, but you have to act fast!

Actually, it's a dremel mark if you want to get technical about it. I'm not real anal about finish on my guns, so I don't care about stuff like little scratches, stock dings and inconsequential stuff like that. I think it's funny to hear people cry about a scratch on their new gun.

If you'd seen guys shoot their full auto AKs until the handguards catch on fire, you'd know where I'm comming from. If you're from the other side of town you can't afford to do that to your toys though, so I see where you're comming from.

So stock dings affect accuracy on your weapons? Do you only own lorcins?

If you think that's impressive then take a look at these.

Here you will see detailed pics of the scratches on my Win 1300, notice the mud on the pump.

Here you will see closeups of dirt on the stock that I didn't bother to clean off after the last time I took it out shooting. This pic was from a couple of months ago and I'm sure it's still there unless the gun cleaning fairy snuck into my safe and took care of it for me.

The funny thing is, I'll out shoot you with you using any weapon you have that's comparable to mine.

I'll look forward to your reply, they're mildly humorous.

These aren't weapons, these are toys. Yes, they could be used as weapons, but that isn't what I bought them for. I bought them for shits and giggles. If you didn't sweat the small stuff so much you'd smile more and have a lot more fun in life.
