Anyone got an AR put together as an urban sniper rifle.  Considering most LE snipers make shots on average of 70-100 yards I would think an AR shorty with a scope would be pretty good.  This is what I had in mind. A 16" barrel with a flat top, 6x scope, flip up front sight.  Anyone have an AR like this that they can post a picture of?
4 Aces.

Hmmm, that's exactly what I did for my last .223 build.  My urban sniper is a RRA lower with a Sherluk Marketing 20" free float flattop upper.  I put a Tasco 4-10X on a Tapco riser mount and that thing shoots as well as my PSS and my 110FP at 100 yards but has 30 rounds in the mag.  I'm sure it'd actually be fine out to 300 yds or so.  Best part is that AR's are so cost effective.

AJ

I put together a Bushmaster 16 inch V-match. No pics though. Just sold it recently. Going to put together a PRI clone using a 20 inch V-match.
