I am considering to obtain a Class2/SOT to experiment with different types weapon designs and try marketing some new technology. I also would like to incorperate a public shooting range into this business to help pay the bills.
My question, is there any chance at making decent money in this? There is alot of hoops to jump though and I dont what to hang myself in the process.
Is there really a market for shooting ranges?
I am tring to do my homework, is there any web sites to go to and give me some insite(I know about rangeinfo.com).
Any help would be great.

There must be someone or somewhere I can turn too for some info. It may sound like a stupid question but if I do this I will need to convince some banker to give me money and I dont even know where to start. How do I go about becoming a SOT? Legalities? etc.
