I've got a bunch of 30-06 black tip sitting at the house. Would it be legal for me to pull the bullets and use them in 300 WM cases? It would be nice to have some AP 300 WM ammo for those rainy days...
I don't want to break any laws so I thought I'd throw this out and see what kind of responses I get.

As far as the Feds are concerned you can, as long as they are for personal use.

Yep! But check the laws of your state! 300 Win Mag is a Rifle Round.

As long as your state has no law against it and it is for yourself (not making them to resell) it is fine.

A friend of mine uses them in 165grain as they are the most accurate bullet he has found for the price.  Overkill for ground hogs, but they work.
