Has anyone used the Brownells Moly-Kote spray?

I need to put a finish on 2 chrome-moly 1911's, and I don't want blue them.
I need something that activley resists corrosion, so it seems this is the way to go.
Has anyone had any luck with this?
And if so, what prep did you use before application? As far as abrasive preperation?

I used some of their GunKote before, which sucked ass on everything but mags. (It does refinish mags quite nicely though). It totally flaked off.

I've used their AlumaHyde II on a FAL.

I don't think any spray on finish will perform well enough to stick to a weapon that's going to see a holster.
