I saw online today Lake City .223 ammo for $179.95 per 1000.  Unknown lot number or year of manufacturer.  Is this a good price?  I know current production Q3131 is going for that same price.  Anyone have a preference?

Unless that price includes shipping, I'd pass. I regularly get 1000rd cases for $120-140 at gunshows, plus tax of course. >gg< Of course this price is probably not Lake City but mil-surp.
