Wilson Combat are the best.
Years of hard IPSC use convinced me.

I always had good luck with the plane ol springfield mags.  I think they are made by metal form.

Nothing wrong with U.S.G.I. mags. That's all I own, they never give me any trouble. That includes a couple of 60 year old WWII surplus mags.

I like the wilson 8 rounders and the new wolff mags. Man those things are just awesome. Try one and you will like it!

Chip McCormick Shooting Star mags can be had for $12-14 each & they're 8rd mags. They've always worked for me.

He is selling shooting stars for $8.99.  That is as cheap as I have ever seen them.  I have a few and they work just fine.  Wilsons are the best and most consistent, but I have never had a jam due to the shooting stars, and you can get three at this price for the cost of one Wilson.
