I am going to try an A1 length stock on one of my M4s and I have read the Canadian C-7 stock is the same finish, material and style as the newer A2 stocks, with the A1 length.
I have also read the later SP-1 stocks are the same.
Does anyone have the straight scoop on this?
Where can I find a complete New one?

Northridge has original M16 A1 stocks for $20. The ones I got were in real good shape. They come as a set, stock, grip, and triangular handguards. I painted a set with Brownells Aluma-HydeII in OD, came out great. I prefer the shorter A1 stocks as they are a lot quicker to shoulder. Believe it or dont, but they have the same length of pull as an AK.
