Some of us are trying to put together a shoot in the Pawnee National Grasslands this next Sunday.

If your interested, post here, or IM me and I will get you the contact info.

In the future we will try for longer notice.

Directions:
From I 25 go east on HWY 14 to the 2nd signal in AULT. Turn right and go south one block, you will see the SubWay/gas station on the right.

I will be there at 11:45 AM and will be pulling out at 12:15 PM for the Grasslands. Please be there not later than 12:00 PM so we can join up.

Targets
Please be sure to bring legitimate targets.
NO APPLIANCES, STEREOS, TV's, COMPUTERS, ETC... This is the only thing that will get the shoot closed down by the USFS. Take out what you bring in.

There will be one person there with 9K rounds of Guatamalan 5.56 for sale 1440 round cases for about $145 each.

Man, I would sure like to join the group. While I could bring other firarms, I don't have my AR with me. KKF is installing a A3 TacBrake.

Double whammy. I just went to the Tanner Gun show yesterday and bought 1200 rounds of South African 5.56 for $167 with tax. I believe the person selling the Guat. ammo posted awhile back trying to sell the entire 9000K lot at once. I offered on this web site and via e-mail to buy 1K rounds but never heard back. Oh well, I think the price for the SA was fair.

Anyway, I hope you all try to do this again when I have my AR back. After keeping up with this website, there seems to be a great bunch of people who enjoy guns as much as I do and share some of the same viewpoints.

Just recently joined the Golden Gun Club in Watkins, anybody else a member there?

Off the subject, but this is a good group to ask this in. When is the next gun show in either Denver or the Fort Collins area. I live in Laramie and the ones here usually suck. About 10 vendors, usually only two are selling AR or AK related stuff. Thanks.

Aug 24-25, Longmont, BoulderCounty Fairgrounds

Sep 14-15, Loveland, Larimer County Fairgrounds

Sep 21-22, Denver, Merchandise Mart, I25 & 58th

Oct 12-13, Denver, same as above

Oct 26-27, Ft. Collins, Lincoln Center

There is also a good show Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st. This is a "Crossroads of the West" held at the Holiday Inn of I-70 and Chambers in Denver. In my opinion, this show is great. Unlike the Tanner shows, I believe there are only 2-3 of these shows in Denver a year and it seems to attract additional vendors than many of those who are common at the Tanner show - FYI.

Hey guys, just and idea. Someone was suggesting that a bunch of the members get together on Sept 11th to do a shoot. Its on a Wednsday and I have already requested it off. If anyone is interested let me know. I'll start another thread if there is interest.

Woohooo, day after tomorrow! Cant wait. I will be in a red 4dr Jeep Cherokee with Wyoming Plates. As far as I know I am the only one from WY thats coming.
