I bought a Rem LTR a while back and I love it.
I shot it on the Bad Lands Sniper Course a while
back. Banging the steel at 1k was not a problem.
I was shooting Black Hills 175 grn Match ammo.

The stock is a bit short for me and I had to add
a cheek comb for proper scope/eye alignment.

I ordered a HS Precision floor plate and 10 rnd.
box magazine from HS and the Speed Lock Systems
firing pin and spring. Highly recommended
upgrades.

I'm using a Leupold M1 LR scope. I ordered the
Badger weaver base with a 20 MOA elivation
taper. This will allow you to reach the 1k
target with approx. 45 MOA elivation dialed in
from a 100 yard zero.

Irony: After spending the money on the great
HS Precision floor plate and magazine,
I decided to order the Accuracy International
folding stock and put it on instead.
The LTR stock just seems too small to me, but
that's kinda the whole point in a way. Hence the
name..."LTR" Light Tactical Rifle.

I'll have to change mine to "HCR" for Heavy Compact Rifle, I guess.

I don't care for the short stock myself I would probably replace it with a full size HS.I wanted to get something for both hunting and target shooting. With the 20 in barrel it would make a nice compact deer rifle.I have also looked at the new sako 75 lightweight with a 20 in heavy fluted barrel(very nice).
